Steven's debut solo-album Mercy was originally released on Del-Fi Records.  The 1950's label which was made famous by it's biggest star Ritchie Valens found new success after the 1987 hit film La Bamba, about the life and death of Valens.  The label was officially re-launched by founder Bob Keane and signed it's first artist, Steven Alvarado in 1991.  In 2003, Keane sold Del-Fi to Warner Music Group.  Mercy is now available on Mott Street Records.
